Daubert Nox Rust Hydrin

Daubert NOX RUST^® Hydrin X is a powder based corrosion inhibitor (anti rust powder) to be diluted with water. Daubert NOX RUST^® Hydrin X is a new chemical combination with inherent properties not found in any other water-soluble rust inhibitor.

• Good remover of finger prints, hydrolize residues from chlorinated solvents
• For preparation of non-corrosive grinding coolant
• Can be used to inhibit rinse waters used for various operations and tests

Commonly used water soluble rust inhibitors such as chromate, nitrites, or alkaline materials are not effective in preventing rust except in solution with water.

Water mixed with Hydrin X provides excellent protection to ferrous metals not only when immersed in the solution but also has an extremely important characteristic, which other water-soluble inhibitors do not possess. Ferrous metals coated with Hydrin, accomplished by a dip with 0.5% to 2.0% by weight concentration in water, will not rust for a considerable length of time after removal from the solution. The metal will remain rust free even after exposure to numerous condensation cycles. No other water-soluble inhibitor will do this. This property of Hydrin is called residual protection.
