Zavenir Daubert had the challenge to provide an economical solution that can meet the end-user's technical specifications and provide rust protection for a minimum of 2 years. Apart from these, the product had to comply with the MIL-P-46002A standard (MIL-PRF-46002C) and the requirement of a document with corrosion resistance up to 60 months. Zavenir Daubert corrosion experts recommended the use of NOX-RUST VCI 10 to overcome the obstacles. Volatile Corrosion Inhibitive (VCI) lubricating oil for use in preserving ferrous metal parts in enclosed systems, NOX-RUST VCI 10 combines the protective properties of a preservative oil with those of VCI.

NOX-RUST VCI 10 stood up to the mark by curbing the rusting issue for a longer period and provided a 15% saving in oil consumption due to lower film thickness.
